Why write? I've been on vacation about 10 days now. This morning I ate the (free)Belguim waffle and a half of grapefruit with sugar free syrup. Yesterday I ate at Ben and Jerry's and went to a Chocolate Festival and the day before I went to a Ben and Jerry Factory Tour. No Scale? No Weight gain! Really, I do intend to come back to earth soon. As far as exercising, I haven't figured out my thoughts on that one yet. With my new job and position and other stuff I am doing (schooling) and still being an actual mother and wife, I don't want to be hassled with the thought of needing to exercise. I figure I'll com back to it later when my time is more available. But I want to keep my weight of between 152 adn 155 my scale, whether or not I exercise. Lord, please help me not overeat today.

About Me
- Name: An Ordinary Christian
- Location: Los Angeles,, California, United States
I am an "ordinary Christian". In this world I may be, as all of God's children, extraordinary (Gen 1:27). In Christ I can do extraordinary things (Phil 4:13). But I like to identify myself as an ordinary Christian because I want to serve Christ according to the pleasure of His will, as His bondservant, as a slave, one owned by her Master. As such, every extraordinary thing I may do in Christ is standard fare, expected and a reasonable service of worship. With my view of Christ on my cross, I do not evaluate my service according to my own judgment. I do not choose to think of myself more highly than I ought, but rather I want to think of myself with sober judgment (Rom 12:3). Anything good I do is by the grace of Christ given me. I have no ability to measure what I do or don't do. I desire for my eye to be single and good. This is why I am an ordinary Christian. After all, Paul called himself "chief of sinners." Is it anything unreasonable to be known as an ordinary Christian?
